What Is The Get Into Golf Programme?
The programme offers pupils a chance to bias their learning towards their own needs, and focus on areas of their game that require the most improvement. There is a choice of lesson types, including ‘Ladies Only’ and ‘Mixed Sessions’, where pupils can sign up to lessons covering all aspects of the game.
Get into Golf covers four levels of achievement, starting at Beginner level, and working up through Improver, Player, and finally Golfer.
By the end of the programme, pupils will have the confidence, skills and knowledge to be able to play golf to a handicap standard.
For each level, the following main areas will be covered: Iron Play, Putting, Chipping, Bunkers, Driving, Course Management and Golf Fitness.
AIMS FOR EACH LEVEL:
FREE 90-Minute Taster Session
We appreciate golf may not be for everyone and you want to see if you enjoy it first, before you make a financial commitment to continue. With this in mind, we have created special 90-minute Taster Sessions, designed specifically to give you a flavour of our Get into Golf programme.
By taking part in one of these sessions you will be given an introduction to the programme, tour The National Golf Centre Academy, learn about the equipment you will use, experience what Get into Golf will be like and receive an Induction Form, should you wish to continue.
