Gents Alverstone Trophy Rd 1 Rules

1. The Competition will be played over 36 holes of medal play in accordance with the Rules of Golf and the Local Rules of the Club. There will be a two-tee start from the 1st and 9th tees. The use of electronic distance measuring devices is permitted for competitions.
2. The Competition is open to current members of Woodhall Spa Golf Club (WSGC) and members of a Lincolnshire Affiliated Golf Club. Members of WSGC may invite competitors from outside the County. The field size will be a maximum of 60 players. Maximum handicap index is 15.5.
3. All Competitors must have a Competition Handicap on the Competition Day
4. Entrants to be 18 or over on the day of the Competition.
5. The use of ride on buggies will only be allowed at the discretion of the Committee
6. Competitors must register in the Clubhouse to collect their scorecard. Following registration please report to the Starter at least 10 minutes before your starting times, failure to do so will result in disqualification. Meals or snacks may be purchased in the Restaurant throughout the day. The Halfway hut will be open for Competitors.
7. The Organising Committee reserves the right to refuse any entry without reason.
8. In the event of a tie for the Alverstone Trophy, there will be a sudden death play off immediately following the final group after normal play. Play will be over Holes 1, 2, 17 & 18 until there is a winner. Shots will be conceded according to the Stroke Index of the Hole. No single player may win more than two hundred and fifty pounds in Vouchers from the Competition prizes.
