Starting at Beginner level, you will learn skills and “etiquette” in a friendly and very informal setting. Typically, group sessions begin on the range:-
1. Learn swing basics (to hit the ball 50 yards in the air)
2. Chipping and Pitching
4. How to play a golf hole (roughly 70 yards long)
5. How to play a 6 hole par 3 competition, and understanding how handicapping makes golf fun for everyone
By the end of the programme, pupils will have the confidence, skills and knowledge to play golf on a bigger course. they will also have made some friends and had alot of fun.
For players who would no longer consider themselves beginners, but none the less lack the confidence to join a golf club or play regularly on a full-length course
Small groups of 3 or 4 people, mixing coaching time between the range, short game area and Bracken course.
The front 9 of the Bracken has shorter “AcademyTees” for new golfers to play from, making the game much easier!
